Mommy And Me Coordinating Outfits From Dick’s Sporting Goods

A few weeks ago I visited the Dick’s Sporting Goods Meyerland location and was pleasantly surprised with all of the options for coordinating outfits for families. We are frequent shoppers at Dick’s but we usually go in for workout gear, sneakers for the kids or licensed apparel when we are going to a game. I had no idea they had so much cute and casual options for everyday wear. The Calia brand offers a ton of faux leather statement pieces and trendy shackets while their private label DSG line had coordinating options for the whole fam!

Needless to say as soon as I saw coordinating looks for the kids and I, my cart was full pretty quickly! Today I am sharing 3 coordinating outfits I purchased for Camila and me!

Sequin Mini Dress Under $50

The sequins, the length of the dress, the shoes. I mean this look is basically the triple threat 🙂 I have been holding onto these green bow heels for some time now so when I saw that the green sequin dress matched perfectly, I knew the dress was meant to be!

Luxury Gift Ideas For Her

We all have that one boujee friend or maybe we are that friend 🙂 either way, today I am rounding up some really great gift ideas that your designer loving friends (or you) will enjoy and they are all budget friendly!

One of the secrets to great gift giving is to keep all of the items on theme. So if you are putting together a gift basket for a wine lover, keep it all wine themed, if you are wanting to pick out a special gift for a new mama so she can treat herself, a spa gift card with a robe, face mask and some candles are always a good idea and it keeps it on a “treat yoself” theme!

Today I am super excited to share these luxury gift finds for your best girlfriends! All of these finds are in a great price range while still be luxury. I love pairing two items together because presentation is everything and throwing one tube of Dior lipstick into a gift bag just seems a little less thought out then pairing it with a nice coffee table book!

I love the Little Book of Fashion books because it doubles as beautiful decor and if you are celebrating a besties birthday with a bunch of girlfriends, you guys can coordinate all getting her a different book so she can have the whole collection!

To keep luxury gift giving simple,you can pick a designer that your friend likes, go to Sephora or a favorite department store and sort makeup products by price, pair with a coffee table book of the same designer and voila! You’ve got yourself a chic gift she’ll love!

Another one of my fav things to gift is repurposed designer items. You can gift a one of a kind product without breaking the bank and support a small business while you are at it!

Newest Arrivals From Love & Sports

I’ve shared the Love & Sports line from Walmart before but in case you missed it, the line is inspired by celebrity fitness trainer Stacey Griffith (SoulCycle founding instructor) and designed by celebrity designer Michelle Smith (founder of fashion brand Milly). One is an expert in all things fitness and the other in fashion so you know the line is good! Even better, the items are affordable without having to sacrifice quality!

I picked up a few items once the new arrivals launched but the one piece leotard might be my favorite piece! I grabbed it in both back and maroon. It has a ribbed detail all throughout so it is super flattering. I grabbed both the medium and large to try but ended up liking the medium fit best.

The red set, which I also bought in black lol, is a great set for working out for me but I also have been styling it with a shacket for running errands. It would be really cute worn with this puffer vest or jacket.

Top Toys At Walmart Under $100

I am super excited and honored to be partnering up with Walmart to share their Top Toy List for the season!

Some of the items that made Walmart’s Top Toy List are toys that the kids already own so we can speak first hand to how much the kids have enjoyed them! Landon owns and loves his Spiderman bike and Jurassic Park Lego set and some of Camila’s favorite toys this year have been this Barbie Dream Camper and Barbie Styling Head. The Barbie Styling Head is something she plays with daily, especially when I’m doing her hair in the morning. It comes with nail stickers, hair barrettes, pop-in gems, a colorful hair extension, sequins, a brush, spray bottle and more!

Affordable Work Wear From Walmart

I found a chic pant suit from Walmart and as soon as I got a chance to wear the black and white checker print, I knew I needed some other prints! If you are looking for some affordable work wear, today’s post is for you!

The black and white checkered print is so classic so if you are just looking to pick one, this one should be it!

Navy and Green Pant Suit

If you are looking to add a little color to your blazer/pant combo this is a great color combo! It can be styled so many different ways and the blazer goes perfectly with dark denim!

This yellow suit is giving me Clueless movie vibes and I love it! Wearing a size small in all of the blazers and a size 4 in the pants.

Mommy And Me Coordinating Outfits For Fall

Roselyn is my name, matching my kids is my favorite game 🙂 Back today with another coordinating look with Camila!

I got this Buddy Love maxi dress last month and immediately knew the outfit Camila was going to wear when I wore the dress 🙂 I love all of the pretty fall colors in the maxi dress and the tiny cutout detail at the front. I am wearing the small and the length works perfectly with s small heel.

Camila’s whole look is from Old Navy and fits true to size.

4 Coats From Loft You’ll Love

Sharing 4 new coats from Loft that all serve different looks so clearly I needed all of them! 🙂

I styled all 4 of these coats with the same Loft jeans, button down and boots. All three, such classic items and look so elevated with all of these outerwear pieces.

Quilted Funnel Neck Coat

This long quilted coat is so lightweight but keeps you warm! This would be great styled casually with leggings as well. And because it is so lightweight, it would be great to travel with because it’s easy to pack! Wearing the small.

Sherpa Coat

I immediately fell in love with this sherpa coat as soon as I saw it! I love the statement piece that it is. It looks great with jeans, would look amazing styled with a dress and you could elevate your hot mom leggings outfit with this eye catching piece! Wearing the small.

Quilted Jacket

I am really liking the quilted jackets this season. I grabbed this shorter one because in Houston our Fall/Winters still have days in the 70’s so I thought this would be so cute styled with a denim skirt or faux leather shorts. If you are in colder weather, the shorter length would look great with flare or straight leg jeans. Wearing the medium.

Two Button Coat

I think this may be my favorite! This silhouette is such a great staple piece to have in your coat closet! Can be worn with just about anything! I grabbed the bright pink color for a statement piece but it also comes in black and gray. Wearing the small.

I added the links to stories but since those expire after 24 hours and sometimes the highlights get overlooked I am adding the 3 recipes I tried this week! Also, here is my Pinterest “Eats” board. I save a lot of the recipes I have tried there as well.

I really loved all 3 new recipes that I made this week. Not me patting myself on the back for a job well done 🙂 but I can’t take any credit for creating them just giving myself a pat on the back for following the recipe so well, haha!

Birthday Gift Ideas For Him

I totally dropped the ball on sharing the daily gift ideas for Brandon this year but September ended up being so much busier than expected! So today I am rounding up a fun gift idea that I wasn’t able to share fully on Instagram stories. This gift idea is “senses themed” so I did gifts around sight, smell, sound, taste and touch. You get the picture 🙂 These gifts were ones that he mainly opened when I was out of town for work last week. That way it was easy to be like “babe open your touch gift today” rather than having to explain to a man which gift bag to open LOL

Five Senses Gift Ideas For Him

HEAR- Took him to a concert to see Iggy Azalea and Pitbull perform. SO freaking fun btw!

SEE- Made him a small photo book of cute photos of just him and the kids.

TOUCH- There are so many different things you can gift for this category but I always love to treat him to a football game as part of his birthday gift so for this one I ended up putting 2 envelopes in the box with the words TOUCH and DOWN. One envelope had tickets for a University of Houston football game and the other to a Houston Texans game.

TASTE- His favorite cheesecake and something else that I won’t mention here because my Mom reads and shares all my blog posts lol.

SMELL- New Burberry cologne and deodorant.
