If you can’t tell, I love rodeo and festival season! The fashion just renews something inside of me! Today I am sharing some outfit inspiration from Amazon in case you plan on heading to Rodeo Houston before it ends on March 19th or you have music festival plans this season!
Are you traveling for Spring Break? We are heading out on a little road trip to the Dallas area and we are sooo excited for it! We plan for lots of pool time and we even booked a night at Medieval Times which Landon is really looking forward to!
Today I am sharing some of our tried and true travel essentials. Items that we have used for a very long time and have helped us have smoother travel days. So whether you have a flight coming up or going on a road trip like us, hopefully you’ll find this post helpful!
Packing Essentials

Toiletry Bag– If you are a full size girly like me, you’ll love this toiletry bag. Forget all that travel size stuff lol. This bag is such a great size and has a ton of pockets and elastic straps to keep all of your things organized. It folds up easily and when you get to your destination you can just unzip and hang it in the bathroom if you don’t want to fully unpack it. I put my stuff and the kids stuff in here and I bought Brandon a black one for himself. There are two sizes. I have the medium.
Sunglasses Case– No more just throwing all of your sunglasses into your purse! Or is that just me? This foldable hard case will protect your glasses when traveling.
Charging Accessories Organizer– A great way to keep your charging blocks, cords and portable chargers organized when traveling.
Noise Canceling Headphones– I actually use these for the gym as well. I am not an earbud girl. These are comfy, come with a case and the charge lasts for days! Also, they come in the prettiest colors.
Power Mist Sanitizer– Another item that I also use in my everyday life and not just when we are traveling. It’s a spray mist so it’s easy to use and it’s hydrating! Hopefully we are all still washing our hands often 🙂 and sanitizing! Other sanitizers dry out my hands so bad. This one does not!
Mini Jewelry Travel Case– I also have this bigger jewelry case but honestly unless I am traveling for a photoshoot, I typically do not pack a ton of jewelry. Just a couple of everyday pieces and maybe a statement earring. This mini jewelry travel case works perfectly for me.
Packing Cubes– I’ve shared these so many times because they are seriously a game changer! They keep everything so organized! Especially the kids outfits! And once you get to your hotel you can just stick the cubes into drawers and voila!
Snack Bag– These clear pouches are a great size for all the snacks. I love that they are clear so you can easily see inside. We alway pack them for the plane and they are great for throwing in your backpack when doing all the touristy things.
Phone Holder– No more having to balance your phone on the airplane tray table. This easily snaps onto the seat in front of you so that you don’t cramp your neck trying to watch a movie or show on the plane.
Kids Travel Essentials
Shop these items:
No Spill Cups– Need I say more? We use these all the time but they definitely come in clutch when we are in the car.
Sticker Books– Sticker books and mess free coloring books will keep our kids busy for hours. These are great for the plane, car and the hotel room if you need some quiet time between activities. This pack of Highlights books are Landon’s favorite as of lately. He loves mazes and the “finding the difference” books right now.
Drawing Pad– If you don’t do screen time time with your kids, this is a great alternative. It looks like a little tablet and the kids can draw on it endlessly. Camila loves a good game of tic tac toe. Unless you beat here LOL.
Doodle Book– This is another great mess free coloring book. This one comes with different color markers, multiple pages and a little velcro pouch to keep all the markers together.
Handheld Toy– Who remembers these? Camila and Landon love them! Brandon and I will play with theirs every once in a while too LOL.

Rodeo Houston 2023 is here and I’m excited! To be honest the performer line up did not excite me as it has in past seasons but the fashion always does so I’m still very much looking forward to it!

I am finally getting around to sharing all the details about Camila’s Spa Birthday party! I cannot believe she’s already 4!
I’ve gotten so many messages about where we had Camila’s 4th birthday party and that makes me so happy because I could not have loved this small business more. I found Sprinkles in Pink through a google search. Since we were going to Disneyland as part of Camila’s birthday gift, I wanted to do something small but still fun for our special girl.
Sprinkles in Pink was everything I imagined and more. Camila is into all things girly. Makeup, nail polish, unicorns, sparkles. You get the picture 🙂 so my original plan was to take her and her closest friends to a nail salon and then lunch and ice cream after but then I came across Sprinkles in Pink and I am so glad I did!
Sprinkles in Pink is located in League City. They specialize in spa parties and tea parties but if your birthday princess has something else in mind, they can help make that idea come to life too! Their event space is fully decorated complete with a floral wall, balloon wall and a castle backdrop. Renting the space includes table, chairs, cake table, tablecloths, napkins, utensils, cups and even drinks for the littles. You literally don’t have to worry about decorating, setting up or taking down. I mean, that’s a win, win, win in my book!
Depending on the package you purchase, they’ll even take care of the birthday goody bags! All I had to do was pick up a cake, get all the little princesses there and had pizza delivered to the venue.

I’ll list everything below that was included in the The Ultimate Spa Party because I was so impressed!

Oh and yes, I had to be just a little extra and get my girl and her girls a limo as part of the birthday festivities! I rented it from C&H Transportation. The girls were so excited when it pulled up!!

Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm
What is it?: A face cleansing balm with a unique blend of Loofah Seed and Moringa Oil.
What is it supposed to do?: Effortlessly remove makeup while helping to clear congested pores. Removes impurities and dissolving all traces of makeup, leaving skin balanced, soft, and radiant.
How To Use: Place balm into clean, dry hands then rub together to warm product. Apply to dry skin and massage all over face. Wet a cloth with hot water, wring damp and wipe off product.
Would I Buy It Again?: I really like this cleansing balm! It works really well and feels so good on the skin especially if you have dry skin. It immediately gives your skin a soft texture and removes all makeup so easily. I would definitely purchase again.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Advanced Dry Shampoo
What is it?: A spray that helps eliminate oil and sweat while leaving hair with softness and shine like it was just washed.
What is it supposed to do?: Eliminate oiliness and extend time between washes and preserve your style for longer.
How To Use: Shake can well before each use. Hold canister about 6-10″ away from dry, dirty hair. Wait 30 seconds then remove powder by massaging and shaking roots with fingers or brush out hair. Style as desired.
Would I Buy It Again?: 1000% yes! And that is coming from someone who actually doesn’t like the original Living Proof Dry Shampoo! This one is probably one of the best dry shampoo products I have ever used! The only negative thing about it, is that the scent is pretty strong. If they could just work on that, this would be my favorite dry shampoo!
Colleen Rothschild Restorative Hair Mask
What is it?: A color safe conditioning and restorative hair mask.
What is it supposed to do?: Improve hair elasticity and strength It also helps reduce frizz resulting in soft hair.
How To Use: Apply to clean, damp hair. Massage from root to ends. Rinse. It can be used as a daily conditioner, or as an intensive weekly treatment.
Would I Buy It Again?: Probably not. I liked it but I didn’t love it. It felt like a good conditioner for me but it didn’t give me the results of what I would expect from a restorative hair mask. It didn’t feel irresistably soft like the website claims it would. It just felt like I washed my hair with any regular conditioner. The scent is amazing though. I just expected more from this hair mask because I love all of the Colleen Rothschild products. This one was just not for me.
Aveda Botanical Repair Hair Mask
What is it?: A weightless mask that repairs and strengthens hair instantly.
What is it supposed to do?: In just one use, intensely repair and strengthen hair.
How To Use: After shampooing, smooth through damp hair. Leave on 2–5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
Would I Buy It Again?: Now, this $13 hair mask is where it’s at! I will be purchasing again! It definitely left my hair feeling silky and soft after just one use!
Alterna Renewing Scalp Care Scrub
What is it?: An exfoliating, vegan scrub that lifts away impurities and buildup while moisturizing and soothing the scalp.
What is it supposed to do?: Gently exfoliates, hydrates, and moisturizes the scalp. The soft scrub helps remove dead skin, oil, dirt, and any product buildup on the scalp.
How To Use: Use as a shampoo and put desired amount into wet palms. Gently massage scrub throughout the scalp to exfoliate and cleanse. Then rinse out.
Would I Buy It Again?: Yes! If you follow me on Instagram, you have already seen me talk about the product on stories and here. I have already repurchased this product many times. For someone who does not wash their hair often or even just someone that has a dry scalp, this product is a great one to help really cleanse and gently exfoliate the scalp. Something that is often forgotten about!

Manny and Jordan choose comfort over anything so I really wanted to get them some on-trend items that look more dressed up but most importantly still comfortable. I really love the black camo print, puffer vest and shacket! They tried everything on when I got home and loved it all so of course so we had a mini photshoot. Auntie win!
