Happy Friday! So many of ya’lls kids went back to school this week so I hope your littles had the best week! I’m sure there were a ton of emotions because any reminder that our kids are getting bigger makes me so sad too LOL
Today I am sharing some Loft denim that you can style for the office. I love the dark denim wash and although I personally love me some distressed jeans, many of you have asked for ones you can wear to the office or school so I found the perfect pair!
Outfit One
I am wearing a 27 in the jeans so I would say they fit true to size.
Outfit Two:
The cropped length on these non distressed jeans make it perfect for pairing with both heels and sandals.
I have been crushing hard on matching two piece sets but can you blame me?! They making getting dressed so easy and when they are sold as a set, it’s basically two pieces of clothing for the price of one 🙂
I fell in love with this pink and yellow leopard print set so fast but let’s be honest I can hardly resist anything from Show Me Your Mumu! I am wearing a medium in both pieces. You can also style this top with denim and the shorts with your favorite cami!

“The days are long but the years are short”. I have never related to that saying so much until this year! I feel like my babies are growing so fast and the other day I saw someone post something that said “you only have 18 summers with your kids. make them out”. Okay, BRB while I cry!
This summer was so extra special because it was the first as a family of 4. The days are flying by but we are still soaking up every last second of it!

Outfit One: Summer Family Date Night Dinners
Once Landon discovered lamb chops and steak, GAME OVER! That’s all he wants to eat when we ask him what restaurant he wants to go to! So needless to say a good Brazilian steakhouse and Killen’s are places we frequent often!
Outfit Two: Summer Sports Activities
Landon’s fav outdoor sport right now is basketball but we tried tennis the other day and I’m kind of ashamed to say he did much better than me. 🙂 But hey at least we both looked cute lol
Outfit Three: Summer Picnics
The kids love packing up their snacks in lunch bags even if we are just eating snacks in the backyard so we make sure to “picnic” weekly! In the backyard, in the front yard, at the park, at the neighbors house in the driveway, etc.! They love a picnic!
Outfit Four: Summer Days At The Park
Even in the height of the Houston heat, these kids can play for hours!

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser:
What It’s Supposed To Do: You know those pesky little bumps that you may get on the back of your arms or on your legs! Well, that may be Keratosis Pilaris, also known as KP and also known as “chicken skin”. The First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser claims to reveal healthier-looking skin with Glycolic and Lactic Acids at a combined level of 10% to help loosen skin’s top layer while also decongesting pores with pumice buffing beads, delivering the benefits of a chemical peel and micro-dermabrasion treatment in one. It exfoliate bumps and chicken skin associated with keratosis pilaris.
How To Use: 1-2 times a week, apply onto wet skin and gently massage with fingertips onto problem areas. Rinse, pat dry and follow up with moisturizer.
My Opinion: At the first sign of my first bottle running out, I purchased another one so fast! I usually get KP during the colder months but I don’t know if the humidity this year just threw my skin for a frenzy but I thought I was getting really bad razor bumps on my legs. First Aid Beauty sent me a PR package and this product was included so I decided to try it. So happy I did! Within a week those little bumps were gone! Like literally all gone! I would highly recommend trying this product!
Bright & Shine CBD Cleanser
What It’s Supposed To Do: This facial cleanser is formulated with aloe, turmeric, watermelon fruit, and lentil fruit extracts. These all natural, non toxic ingredients have been associated with brightening, rejuvenating, and renewing the skin. Said to help the appearance of rosacea, hyper-pigmentation, and impurities.
How to Use: Mix in palm with warm water and lather onto face in circular motions. Can be used with Konjac sponge for light exfoliation. Wash off with warm water and pat skin dry.
My Opinion: This super gentle, gel to cream cleanser smells great and I think would be great for sensitive skin but I wasn’t a huge fan. I always double cleanse but for some reason when I incorporated this product into my nightly routine I felt like I had to triple cleanse on those days. I also felt like I had to use so much of the product each time. There are a lot of other products I love from Switch 2 Pure (like the Hyaluronic Spray Serum and the Well & Glow Facial Oil) but the CBD cleanser does not make my list on things I would repurchase.
Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser
What It’s Supposed To Do: Energize as it gently exfoliates to help unclog pores. Skin should look smoother and brighter. Key ingredients include radiance-boosting panax ginseng and caffeine. The jojoba and carnauba wax gently exfoliate to help unclog pores. The scrub has the Origins uplifting 100% natural essential oil blend of grapefruit, lemon and spearmint.
How To Use: Gently massage into wet skin in circular motions. To increase exfoliation, leave on skin for 1 minute without scrubbing. Avoid eye area. Rinse thoroughly. Gentle enough for daily use.
My Opinion: What I really like about this scrub is that it is a gentle exfoliator that you can actually use everyday. And like it says, it truly does help your skin look smoother and brighter! Personally, I do like a scrub cleanser the most so maybe that is why I was not a fan of the CBD cleanser. The Origins scrub makes my skin feel cleaner instantly, helps awaken the skin and helped tighten my pores! I would definitely purchase this again!

Okay, you guys loved the Fruity Pebbles, banana and yogurt concoction I shared last week so I am sharing the deets on that recipe here today along with another fun (and easy!) breakfast idea the kids love! All the ingredients plus waffle maker I was able to order through the Walmart app and with my Walmart + membership I was able to get my order within 2 hours from my local store after I placed my order.
Mix waffle batter and then separate into bowls depending on how many colors you plan on using
Drop food coloring into each bowl and mix in to get your desired colors
Transfer each color of batter to its own Ziploc bag, you can also use piping bags if you are fancy like that but I just used Ziploc bags and cut the tips (careful not to spill the batter).
Carefully pour each color into a heated circle waffle maker to make your colorful waffles. Cook according to waffle maker instructions. We sprayed with a little avocado oil before pouring batter in.
Remove and put onto plate
Once cool, circle with some whip cream topped with sprinkles and don’t forget to spray a little whip cream straight out of the bottle into your kids mouth for some extra cool mom points LOL!

Today I am sharing 2 cute outfits I recently got from Walmart.
Outfit One:
How cute are these espadrilles?! They are super lightweight too! The sandals run true to size. I sized up to a 7 in these shorts. Keep in mind these are junior sizes so they run on the smaller side but I just could not pass up these $12 shorts! I am wearing a medium in the sunshine tank.
Outfit Two
This dress is so pretty and comes in other colors/prints. It will also be cute tp transition into cooler weather with some booties and a denim jacket. I am wearing a small.
I have been slacking on blog posts since we left for Miami. That vacation hangover is real! But I am mentally back 🙂 and have a lot of fun content planned for you!

This is our 3rd time back in Miami and although we have some fav places we look forward to visiting each time, we love venturing out to new restaurants and areas. Happy Friday Jr! I love a short work week but I still feel like we have a trillion things to do before the weekend hits! We bought this new behavior chart for the kids and we let each of them choose their own “big” reward if they get all of their stars each week and sister said she wanted her reward to be “baseball game”. We were cracking up so hard when she said that! But hey, the girl knows what she wants LOL
We are still working on our Summer Bucket List and an Astros game is on there so either way, little princess will get her way haha!

I was thinking that we were flying out to Miami the exact day after our zoom court hearing but we will actually be in Miami already the day of the call!! It’s going be vacation celebration for sure!!
