Our Summer Bucket Lists

It’s officially summer and I could not be more excited! I always put a summer bucket list together but this year I asked Landon if he wanted to put his own list together and he was ready! We’ve put the lists together on a fun canva doc if you want to print them out or get some inspiration for your lists!

I asked Camila if she wanted to put a list together but when I started writing hers down for her she repeated all the things her big brother said LOL however she did add nail salon so we will all be checking off Landon’s summer bucket list together plus a trip to the nail salon 🙂

Go to a Treehouse- Thankfully he didn’t mean build a treehouse because that is something I will not be able to commit to this summer haha! I am currently on the hunt for a treehouse adventure within driving distance. I’ll keep ya’ll posted!

Go to the library- This one is going to be great for the summer hot summer days to come. I am also printing a ton of age appropriate books from Reading A-Z for the kids. I’m trying to set up some fun reading goals for them this summer. I just haven’t quite figured out how I am going to do that yet. Once I do, I will definitely share!

Have a water balloon fight

Nerf gun battle – And that’s on being a boy Mom lol! But honestly, I am so excited about this! I have actually started planning it already!

Disney cruise- Whew! Thankfully we were already planning this one all year because this would have been a big ask!

Go to a military Military museum- Landon loves all things soldier related and I love that about him! Camila actually starts summer a few days after him so I am thinking about taking him to the Military Museum of Texas next week!

Ice sundae party with friends

Make a lemonade stand

Laser gun battle- Another fun indoor activity on a super hot summer day!

Sleepover- Okay we don’t do sleepovers yet but we always have out neighbors over for evening play dates that turn into late nights so I’m thinking about hiring one of the cute Houston party companies to come and set up slumber tents for us! We did this for Camila’s 2nd Birthday celebration.

Learn to ride my bike without training wheels- Yes I’m gonna cry but little man is ready to keep on growing!

Date Night with Hubby- Making date nights a priority are so important so I am making sure it’s on my bucket list this summer!
Staycation at Marriott Marquis– We love a staycation and the Marriott Marquis in downtown is one of our favorite spots because of the Texas shaped float pool!
Day Trip To Galveston- There is so much to do in Galveston! Linking a girls day itinerary blog post here but also a chill, relaxing day on the beach is always a good idea too!
Enjoy A Day At Levy Park– We have so much fun at this park and they always have so many thing happening during the summertime.
Spend The Day At A Waterpark (Schlitterbahn or Typhoon Texas or BOTH!)
Plan a Fun Day With Just Camila & I- I’m going to put a day aside where Camila picks all the things she wants to do!
Plan a Fun Day With Just Landon & I- It’s very important to me that both Brandon and I get one on one time with each of the kids on their own so I am planning a fun day with both of them.
Take The Kids To A Movie- So many great movies coming out right now and the kids love loading up on popcorn and candy at the theatre!
Spend A Day at Old MacDonald’s Farm
Spa Day With Mama Friends- Because we are gonna deserve it after planning all these summer activities for the kids LOL
Strawberry Picking At Froberg’s Farm
Take The Family to A Show or Event (Kidz Bop & Jurassic Live will be in Houston this summer)
I also wanted to share some of my go-to outfits right now that will probably make a feature at some of these fun activities throughout the summer!
I am loving this set from Aerie! Perfect for going to parks, traveling or being at home!
The perfect set to run from activity to activity! You can layer it with so many different pieces and pairs perfectly with tennis shoes, or sandals! A great zoo look!
I love this Amazon set find! Comes in a bunch of colors, and the linen is light and comfortable for the heat! Would be perfect for a day-date with the kids.
Another linen find that I am loving from Target. This is the perfect pink and can be dressed up with heels, or down with tennis shoes. Would be fun for an event or trip to the museum!
