Beauty Empties: Love It Or Leave It

On another episode of Love it or Leave it ๐Ÿ™‚ I am sharing some skincare products and dry shampoo that I’ve used recently and I am spilling the tea on whether they are worth the $$ or not!

Skin Type: My face skin type is normal to dry. Pretty normal but I do get dry spots in certain areas and always worse in the colder seasons.

Gosh it has been so long since I have shared one of these posts! So long that I went through two of the Murad Vitamin C moisturizers!

Murad Essential C Day Moisturizer with SPF 30: This is an antioxidant-rich SPF moisturizer that shields, helps reveal radiance and protects from UV damage as it revitalizes environmentally-stressed skin.

What It’s Supposed To Do: A powerful antioxidant moisturizer that helps shield skin from environmental aggressors and sun damage. It brightens skin with its vitamin C and helps protect skin from UVA/UVB rays with broad spectrum SPF 30.

How To Use: Apply liberally to face, neck, and chest.

My Opinion: Well since I am showing you two empty bottles here you can safely assume I love this product and will be repurchasing! I love how moisturizing this lotion is without being heavy. A major plus that it’s infused with vitamin c and SPF 30!

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo: A dry shampoo formulated without talc or aluminum that refreshes hair by absorbing excess oil and adding volume.

What It’s Supposed To Do: Absorb oil and refresh hair with natural rice starch without leaving white residue.

How To Use: Shake well. Hold 8 inches away and spray onto desired area, focusing on the roots. Massage as you would with a wet shampoo. Brush through.

My Opinion: Ya’ll know I love my dry shampoo and I really wanted to love this one because it smells SO good but it did not work well for me at all! It didn’t help with volume as its supposed to. In fact, I felt like it weighed my hair down and my hair still looked a bit oily. I have a few friends that love this dry shampoo but it just didn’t work for me!

Skinceuticals A.G.E. Interrupter: A.G.E. Interrupter is an advanced wrinkle treatment that fights the visible signs of aging caused by advanced glycation end-products (A.G.E.), a major factor of the natural aging process.

What It’s Supposed To Do: Visibly improve appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, skin creping and thinning. Helps restore water and nutrients to improve the look of skin firmness.

How To Use: Best to use both day and night but you can do once a day if you have another cream you want to alternate with. Since this one is pricey I tried to make mine last by only using once a day LOL. Massage a thin, even layer onto the entire face, neck, and chest. If using in the morning, apply after antioxidant serum and before your sunscreen. If using with a retinol at night, apply after retinol application.

My Opinion: 100% worth it! I got this in a PR package and when I saw the retail price I was hoping I wouldn’t like it but DANG this stuff works and I will totally be purchasing again once a Skinceuticals or a DermStore sale comes around! Maybe for Black Friday! I could definitely feel the difference in firmness and smoothness of my skin after using this!
