Good morning! You all know how to make your girl smile because when I went to pull sales analysis for the month of what you all were loving guess what came in as the top seller?? The Roselyn top! Insert ugly cry here. I seriously love you guys so much.
Gucci Inspired Mama and Mini Tees | I love that you guys love matching your mini’s as much as I do! These tees are such great quality and super inexpensive. Plus they are from Etsy so you are supporting small businesses.
DSW Liraven Pump | I’m pretty sure my Mom was the last one to purchase these because I caught her trying mine on when she was here, haha! These run true to size and are the Valentino dupes.
DSW Seranna Pump | Another sexy pump that is a designer dupe. I love these for work and the weekend. To be totally honest, I wore these all day the other day and realized they are not a 9 hour, wear all day shoe. For heels like this I insert these gel pads for the balls and my feet and that does the trick! Even though these heels have clear panels you won’t be able to see the gel pads because they are hidden completely under your foot.
Wide Leg Crop Pants | Adorable floral print pants that basically feel like you are wearing pajamas? Yes please! These run true to size.
Halogen V Neck Top | Another great work wear top. This top comes in 5 colors and runs true to size.
Long Leopard Knitted Cardigan | Love the coral twist on this leopard print cardigan. This Amazon Prime cardigan runs true to size. Wearing a medium.
Downtown Cami | If you see me wearing a solid color cami, there is a good chance it is this Express one. Such a great basic. Wearing a small.
Brixton Wexley Hat | One of the most trending hats from fall right into spring. This one fits great and can be worn with so many different outfits.
Again, thank you all so much for being here and supporting this platform of mine! I appreciate you all so much! Please let me know if you have any questions about these items!
Hey friends! Recently I have been getting messages asking for advice and tips for people entering into the workforce right after college. Maybe it’s because graduation season is quickly approaching or maybe it’s because I have been sharing a little more about my 8-5 career! Either way I love sharing tips on this topic so today I am sharing 5 powerful interview tips that will totally prepare you to nail your next (or first) job interview!

Powerful Interview Tips
Make sure you research the company you are interviewing with – you don’t have to be an expert by any means but you should know some high level facts. For example, 3 things I like to know before interviewing with a company are:
When and how the company started- Researching information such as this will open up so much knowledge. Referencing some of these facts during your interview will really show the interviewer you did your homework.
The company’s mission and values- knowing a company’s mission and values should be a reason you want to work for them. Becoming familiar with this will allow you to speak to your knowledge about the company as well as give you the opportunity to talk about how your personality and work ethic align with those values and mission.
How much the company has grown in the past xxx years. Researching this could also help you talk about why you are interested in working for their company. The possibilities of your career growth for example.
Be truthful but smart when explaining why you are interviewing for a new job– This won’t apply if you are a new graduate on the hunt for your first job but if you are leaving one company for another, really think thoroughly about how you will answer the interview question, “why are you seeking another job opportunity?”. If it’s because you see the potential of more professional growth with the new company versus your current company, great. But if it’s because you are currently working in an environment where you feel like your co-workers are not “team players” or just don’t work as hard as you do and you don’t want to be around that anymore? Be careful on how you word that. Although it may be true, trust me I’ve been there, but you don’t want to come off as a complainer and you definitely don’t want to have the interviewer thinking, “what if it’s you that’s the problem?”. In all honesty, I have definitely thought that when interviewing candidates.
Study your resume- this may sound silly but I have interviewed quite a few people that when I asked about a past job it was like they didn’t totally remember what they did there. I can understand how you may have forgotten things about a position that you worked at 4 years ago but when you are stepping into an interview be prepared to talk about how you thrived and/or grew professionally in each position you have held.
Use examples to answer the obvious interview questions. – I’ve had a few off the wall interview questions like “what items are in your trunk right now?” but if you have sat through an interview or 2 in your life you will know that there is a 99.9% chance you will be asked: “What are your weaknesses?”, “Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?” and “What would you consider your greatest strength?”
What are your weaknesses? – I feel like this question is a trap, haha but I always ask it and I have always been asked it when being interviewed. My best advice is to provide an example of when you realized your weakness (this proves self awareness) and then provide an example of how you overcame that weakness (this shows problem solving skills and the motivation to want to better yourself). For example, instead of just saying “I’m a perfectionist” you can describe a time when you took a little longer on a project because you wanted it “just right” but how that made you realize you were holding up the people who were waiting for you to complete their part of the project. Explain how you were still able to meet deadlines but realize that your “weakness” may affect other people. Talk about how you have improved this weakness by giving yourself an allotted timeline to complete the project and really utilizing your attention to detail to ensure your work is done right the first time.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? – This would be a great opportunity to give an example on the research you have done on the company. Maybe the department you are applying for has grown tremendously in the past 5 years and you see that as potential for your professional growth. Try to be specific as possible as to what you are wanting in each year. For example, year 1, I forsee myself training and working diligently to becoming an expert in my role. Year 2 and 3 I would like to take full advantage of working closely with my colleagues to understand what each manages and to understand the processes as a whole. Year 4 and 5 become certified in xxx and be considered for xxx role within the company. This is a generic example but you really want to show that you do have a goal for your professional career and you are telling them that even though you do want to grow and promote, that you want to do it within the company.
Follow up and thank them – most likely the interviewer is going to be interviewing other people. Making a lasting impression during your interview is important but that might not last if you are the only one who didn’t send a thank you card or email. Things to say in your follow up:
Thank them – thank them for their time and giving you the opportunity to meet with them face to face.
Reference something that was said during the interview – maybe it was something personal you guys talked about (bonus points!) like how you both were dog lovers or bonded over how you both have kids the same age. Giving the interviewer that feel good feeling again will score you major brownie points!
Re-iterate – re-iterate why you think you will be a great fit for the company and the open position.
I really hope this blog post on interview tips was helpful! If there any questions, please feel free to comment below or email me! info@roselynweaver.com.
Thank you Walmart and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post!
The sun is shining here in Houston and I’m so excited about it! Today I am styling a chic, spring ready outfit with Walmart. If you have been following along for some time now you probably know how many times I have walked into Walmart for one thing and came out with 3 outfits, haha!
Just a few weeks ago I went in for a gift bag and came out with all the supplies to make a DIY denim jacket 🙂
I was so excited when they reached out to me regarding the #WeDressAmerica partnership because I am already a huge fan and now I don’t have to hear Brandon griping when he sends me in for wipes and I come out with 2 dresses, 4 shirts and 3 pairs of sandals 🙂
Shop this look:
Did you all know that Walmart carries a ton of other brands like Circus by Sam Edelman and Lord + Taylor on Walmart.com? I actually just discovered that a couple of weeks ago when I was going to link these sandals for you. I typed in white sandals and all these cute Circus by Sam Edelman came up and I was officially sucked into online shopping for the next 45 minutes 🙂
Also, you get free 2 day shipping with any order over $35!
I am constantly on the hunt for pieces that we can style for both the office and the weekend. This blazer and non distressed denim will definitely be those pieces! And I guarantee that these studded sandals will be some of my most worn shoes of the spring and summer!
I immediately fell in love with this pastel yellow, perfect for Spring, blazer. I can’t wait to wear it with denim shorts and wedges. It runs true to size and I am wearing a size 4.
These $22 straight leg denim jeans are super soft and also run true to size. I am wearing a 4. They feel like a jegging material so I was nervous that they were going to wrinkle easily but they don’t! You all know I am a crazy person about wrinkled clothes!
These Circus by Sam Edelman sandals are so cute that I bought them in both black and brown. As soon as I opened the box my Mom asked if she could have them, lol! I am wearing a 7 in these which is my true size but if you are in between sizes I would suggest sizing up!
And since a lot of people ask about what I order from Starbucks, I am drinking an iced americano with coconut milk here 🙂 My coffee order changes from time to time but straight up espresso with a splash of coconut milk is what your girl is drinking these days! 🙂
I hope you all love this outfit as much as I do! Let me know if you have any questions!

What was really important to me about my top is that I wanted it to be something that could easily be styled for work and the weekend. I love the feminine ruffle front, the smocked detail at the waist and the colors, ahhh the colors are just so perfect for Spring! Hi friends! Or howdy ya’ll! 🙂 I am so happy that I finally made it to Rodeo Houston this year and even happier that I get to partner up with such a great company like Reliant to give away a pair of tickets and parking to one of you!
When I first moved to Houston I remember everyone talking about how great the Houston Rodeo was. I mean I knew it was the biggest rodeo in the world but really, “how amazing would it be?” I thought to myself. Well, you don’t know until you go! The first time I attended the Houston Rodeo I was completely blown away. Endless food options, fun for every age, the concert line up and the actual rodeo is beyond amazing and entertaining. The artists that they get to perform at the rodeo continues to surprise me too. A first timer would think they are all country stars but that’s so not true. The people behind the scenes really try to cater everyone’s music taste and honestly some of my favorite concerts I have attended at the rodeo have been Usher, Robin Thicke and as of late, Cardi B 🙂 I am also really looking forward to the Camila Cabello concert tomorrow! Unfortunately the winner of the tickets and I won’t be sitting together. I’m actually attending with work colleagues and a vendor and I’m crossing my fingers they like to dance as much as I do, haha 🙂
In addition to all of the music entertainment, good food and mutton bustin’, I did want to point out a couple of things that go on during Rodeo to give back.
Hats off to Rodeo Art Contest

Outfit Details: Dress: Red Dress Boutique (this sold out so fast so I am linking some other cute yellow dresses that would also be cute for the rodeo one here and here)| Denim Jacket: similar here and here but the letters on the back are iron on! | Booties: Francesca’s
Okay, okay enough of me talking and more of you guys winning….the winner of the 2 Camila Cabello tickets is…. jlynalt@gmail.com. Please email me asap so we can get your tickets to you for tomorrow’s concert! Yay!! Thank you to everyone who entered! I wish I could give all of you tickets!
If you can’t tell, this California raised girl has become a huge fan of Rodeo Houston. My parents planned on coming to Houston for baby’s Weaver’s 2nd birthday so we are moving up there trip a little earlier so I can take them to the rodeo for their first time! I can’t wait!

Thank you Reliant for partnering up with me on this post and giveaway.
It’s no secret that I LOVE New York City. I remember going to New York for the first time when I was working as an Assistant Buyer and thinking “I belong here”. 🙂 A city with implants from all over the country, a city that never sleeps with an endless amount of restaurant options and coffee shops? Umm, yes please!
Fast forward to 2019. I still have a tremendous love for the city but me in 2014 gallivanting around the city doing whatever I wanted when I wanted is much different than making sure your toddler is having just as much fun while not interfering with nap time 🙂 so today I am sharing 8 fun things to do in New York City with your toddler as well as delicious kid friendly restaurants Brandon and I enjoyed and also toddler approved!
8 Things To Do In New York City With Your Toddler
Visit Central Park – If you followed along on our recent trip to New York, you saw that we made a trip to Central Park almost everyday! We stayed at the Parker New York Hotel (which I would highly recommend) and it was like 2 blocks from Central Park which worked out perfectly. We would walk there and let baby Weaver run free. Did you know that there are 16 different playgrounds in Central Park? In addition to the carousel, horse carriage rides and zoo, this 800+ acre park is perfect for toddler fun at no additional costs.
Time Square Characters – No matter how many times I have gone to New York, I always feel like my trip isn’t complete without a visit to Times Square. We took our little guy there to see the street characters. He enjoyed stalking Elmo from afar but I don’t think he could grasp why there were so many elmos and minnie’s in one place. LOL
M&M World – While you are in Times Square make sure you stop into M&M world and taste all of the fun and different flavors. I mean who doesn’t enjoy chocolate? I know i do and baby Weaver definitely did too!
Visit The High Line – I am laughing as I type this because I read on so many sites that The High Line was a must see and also kid friendly. And it is, however you should probably go on a day that it isn’t snowing LOL. I promise it wasn’t snowing on our Uber ride there, or else I would have saved it for another, sunnier day! It has great views of the city, stroller friendly and a ton of seating areas and grassy areas where I could totally see enjoying a picnic with your family would be so much fun! When we went, it started snowing and Brandon was like “great idea babe” lol. The next time we go in warmer weather I’ll definitely be taking the family back and I’ll show him it was actually a great idea 🙂 Fortunately, baby Weaver fell asleep on the ride over to The High Line so he actually slept in the stroller with his warm blanket while Brandon and I walked (in the snow) and took in the views. The High Line is actually a mile and half long park designed around a no longer in use railroad track.
Ice Skating – This was one thing that we had on our list but didn’t end up doing. If you go during the ice skating season, skating would be fun in Central Park, Rockefeller Center or Bryant Park.
Visit One World Observatory – This is another stop I always make an effort to see when in New York. The top of the One World Observatory is the highest view point in New York City and offers spectacular 360 degree views all over Manhattan and beyond but also so many emotions go through my mind when visiting the site of the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York. They have done such an amazing job honoring those who perished and the heroes who responded. Seeing the architecture of the One World Observatory and The Oculus is mind blowing. You can pay your respects and take in the architecture designs while your little ones enjoy the outdoors. The Oculus also has a ton of shopping and restaurants.
Coney Island- It was way too cold for us to take a trip to Coney Island while were there but in warmer weather, this would have definitely been a stop for us! Coney Island is filled with different attractions for all ages, rides and carnival food! Basically a toddlers dream come true!
City Treehouse – Typically this is not something we would do when visiting a new city but one of the days we were in New York the wind was brutal and we wanted to take baby Weaver somewhere to play that wasn’t a crowded museum. I’m so glad we gave City Treehouse a chance. They had a “treehouse” with a slide, interactive water activities, an art room, a baby room with instruments and a room that was set up for gymnastics type play with a soccer goal and basketball hoop. Baby Weaver loved it and not gonna lie we kind of did too, haha! When no one else was in the gymnastics room Brandon was kicking the soccer ball so hard into the goal baby Weaver literally laughed like it was the funniest thing he had ever seen in his life. Like who is the bigger kid here? 🙂 This place is located in Chelsea so we were able to walk to delicious restaurants from there.
Toddler Approved New York City Restaurants:
One of the things I enjoy the most about traveling, is trying out new restaurants! On this trip I felt like we were on a burger tour, lol, but honestly not mad about that. Baby Weaver has been really into hamburger patties and fruit lately. Basically that’s all he wants, haha. I remember walking into 5 Napkin Burger and Brandon saying “this boy really likes his $15 burgers” LOL
Black Tap NYC – holy smokes, WORTH.THE.HYPE! This place always has lines out the door but we decided to go the day it snowed and got right in. The midtown location was also one street over from our hotel. We ordered The Greg Norman burger, Fruity Pebbles shake and Brooklyn Blackout shake. Yes, yes and yes. I would 100% wait in line for that.
Made in New York Pizza – you have to have New York pizza when you are in New York City and this place does not disappoint. I had the white pizza and I’ve been thinking about it every since!
The Burger Joint– This place was actually located inside of our hotel so we ate it a few times when we just wanted to grab something fast. Simple menu and good burgers. I love how it is decorated very speakeasy-ish. It’s actually hidden behind floor to ceiling curtains in the lobby of the Parker Hotel.
5 Napkin Burger – Brandon and I shared the 5 Napkin Burger which had imported gruyere, caramelized onions and garlic aioli and the Truffle Burger which has taleggio, porcini ketchup, a fried egg and black and white truffle butter. In other words these burgers were the bomb.com. Baby Weaver had a $12 Just the Beef burger and loved it lol.
Other places we ate at and enjoyed but I wouldn’t exactly say they are the best places for a toddler are below. I mean they are “kid friendly” but probably not a toddler favorite, if you know what I mean. Breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien, Brunch at The Plaza & Norma’s, dinner at Fogo de Chao.
Actually to be honest, I was the only one who liked Le Pain Quotidien, lol. The latte and avocado toast were so good. Brandon’s reaction was “I don’t like places that just make basic things sound fancy. Just tell me it’s scrambled eggs and cheese”. LOL
I hope this post is helpful in planning your trip to New York City! Let me know if you have any questions!
Hi friends! One of the questions I get the most on Instagram stories is, “where do you get your eyelashes done?”. You all know I LOVE my eyelash extensions. Early last year I tried to give them up and that lasted for a good 3 months but I thought about them every single day, lol.
I have been eyelash extensions for like 6-7 years. Whenever it was that my girlfriend Nikki had her bachlorette party in San Diego. I remember getting them right before that weekend and I was immediately hooked!
I’ve gone to several places since then. Actually the very first time I got them, I got them done at a nail salon by my house. Even though I immediately fell in love with the way they looked I have learned over the years the right and wrong techniques and I have learned that the nail salon that first did my lashes were doing it all wrong! She actually had me keep my eyes open and didn’t use gel pads or anything but again I didn’t know any better. Today I want to share a lash boutique who I have been using for the past couple months.
Like I mentioned, I have tried out so many different places in the Houston area so now I know exactly what I like and what I don’t like. Actually the individual that I went prior to trying Chiclash Boutique I still love as well but she moved locations and she works for herself now so not only is she too far to get to on my lunch break, it’s really hard to get an appointment with her if I don’t book in advance. That is why I started looking for a lash boutique by my office and fortunately found Chiclash.
Chiclash currently has 3 locations in Houston. A location in Montrose, Highland Village and Memorial area. I have been to both the Montrose and Highland Village locations. First of all the beds are like being hugged by a cloud! Haha, seriously if you go or have gone you know exactly what I mean!
The two stylist I highly recommend going to are Ivy and Jordan. And my one tip when going to get your lashes done anywhere is to be very specific on what you want. The stylists work on so many different people and everyone wants something different so make sure you share whether you like a natural look or more voluminous lashes. When going to a lash stylist for the first time I would even recommend getting a screenshot of some examples you like from their Instagram or website to ensure you get what you want. Just a tip from someone that has been getting eyelash extensions for a while now 🙂
For reference, the length of my eyelash extensions are a mix between 13 and 14 and I tell them I like more fuller, thicker looking lashes.
Chiclash Boutique is also giving you guys 20% off your service when mentioning my name. I’ll link all of their locations here.
If you guys go, don’t forget to send me a picture!
Hi friends! After 10 glorious days in New York with my little family we are back home in Houston. I plan on sharing all of the kid friendly things that we did in New York next week but I wanted to share all of the outfit details asap because I am getting so many messages from you guys since I totally failed at linking everything in real time. 🙁 I am so sorry!
Typically during New York Fashion Week I shoot with Banavenue Photography so I have everything linked for you prior to posting, but this time around it was Fashion Week/family vacation so I was really trying to balance my work load and really not work too much after my meetings. Clearly, I failed and decided I wasn’t going to link anything in time, ha! But making it up to you today and sharing all outfit details below!
Embroidered Sweater: Haute Rogue| Jacket: Revolve (the hubby picked this out all on his own! | Denim: Nordstrom | Booties: DSW | Purse: DSW

One of the most asked about outfits from the trip! It’s so cute and comfy! Plus these golden goose dupes are great too! I highly recommend sizing up a full size in the shoes. Pants and sweatshirt run true to size.

Another most asked about topic, “what Chanel bag did I get?!” Sadly, I didn’t end up bringing one home. *insert ugly cry here. This is the bag I want. The medium, calf skin boy bag with silver metals. Neither Bergdorf or Chanel on 5th Ave had it. They had the small, they had the new medium, they had the one with the gold metal detail but not the one I wanted! Waahh! Of course, both sales representatives offered to order it for me but that’s not the same LOL. This will be my first Chanel handbag purchase and I just pictured checking out and angels singing as the salesman handed it to me 🙂 Is that too much to ask for? LOL. So I’ll have to swing by another Chanel store before my husband changes his mind, haha!
I’ll be sure to share with you all once I get my hands on it!
If you have any questions about sizing on any of the outfits I shared, feel free to comment here or email me at info@roselynweaver.com.
Happy February 15th my loves! Today Brandon and I celebrate 5 years of marriage and I couldn’t be more in love with him!
If you have been reading the blog for some time now you know that I really enjoy following the traditional gifts calendar for gift giving inspiration. If you missed the past few years you can find those posts here, here and here. According to the traditional calendar, the customary gift for year 5 is wood. Since I gave Brandon his gift this morning I figured I could finally share with you guys what he got this year plus 4 other great ideas for a fifth anniversary!
Date Night Bucket List– I thought this was such a cute gift idea! They are basically like popsicle sticks with date night ideas on them. Once you do the activity on the stick you can write the date on the back so you guys can keep them forever.
Wine Cork Holder – I love that you can get them in all state shapes. I thought this would be fun to do if you both were wine lovers!
Reclaimed Wood Cityscape – I love a personalized gift! There are so many good ones out there but I especially like this reclaimed wood idea for a gift for the men.
Wood Cuff Links – Also a great personalized gift! What a sweet idea to put your wedding song lyrics or vows on there.
Coasters – You could do the city you live in or all the places you both loved visiting together.
Can you guess which gift I gave Brandon? Just kidding. I won’t make you guess! I gave him number 3. The reclaimed wood with the Houston cityscape. It is personalized with “The Weavers”. I thought this was such a great gift being that our love story and family all has grown in Houston.
Obviously, it was too big to sneak into my suitcase so I had to print it out and put it in his card. I’ll show you guys ours as soon as we get home! In addition to the traditional gifts I get him every anniversary I can’t help but get him other gifts too. If you know me, you all know gift giving is like one of my top 10 favorite things to do in life! 🙂 Plus he totally deserves it! I got him a University of Houston Jacket and baby Weaver got a matching University of Houston Jersey. I also bought him these Rayban glasses because baby broke his, lol. And my most favorite thing to shop for this year was this Gucci tie. He wears ties all the time and doesn’t have any designer ones so he absolutely loved it and was so surprised!
We get to spend a few more days having fun in the city. Baby Weaver and I may even convince Brandon to take a horse carriage ride around Central Park today 🙂 I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I hope it was helpful! Please let me know if you have any questions!
Happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! We have had a great time in New York so far. Even in the colder weather I love this city so much! We will actually be here for a total of 10 days so I figured it would be fun to share with you what our plans are while we are here!
Every year for our wedding anniversary Brandon and I like to visit somewhere new. You might be thinking, “you guys have been to New York before”. Well yes, that is true. But because my husband is the most amazing person on the planet, he agreed to go to New York this year due to a ton of meetings that I needed to attend this week. We originally planned that I would go just for a few days, come home and then we would fly out to somewhere new to celebrate our anniversary but honestly having to leave Brandon and baby for another weekend would be a lot so we decided the whole family is doing fashion week, haha!
So we are here for a total of 10 days. Our actual anniversary is on Friday, February 15th. I have tried to schedule all of my meetings on the same days so that we have most days to do family stuff and then days I do have just one or two meetings, baby and Brandon are coming with me and just hanging out around the area until I’m done and then we will continue on exploring and doing family stuff! Man, Brandon is such a trooper I swear. Baby too! I am so lucky I get to do life with them. I told Brandon if he needs some alone time, I am happy to take the baby on a mommy and me date so he can relax, lol. I know it’s a lot taking a toddler through a busy city! We got our first hand experience on having to carry a stroller with a sleeping baby in it up and down the stairs to get to the subway. I don’t know know how people do that on the daily. New Yorkers make it look so easy and Brandon and I are all out of breath, haha! I mean, I know we probably could have taken out him out of the stroller but you mama’s know I ain’t messing with nap time!
A lot of my girlfriends were here for fashion week through the weekend so I am glad I got to link up with them too! Saturday I met up with the girls for breakfast at The Plaza and then the rest of Saturday and Sunday were family days 🙂 Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday I have meetings so it is going to be a bit hectic but so worth it. I’ll share as much as I can on stories regarding meetings, family fun and we even have 2 dates planned!
Also, exciting news! I will be taking over the Gibson Instagram account on Tuesday so it would be so fun if you followed along there too! You can find their account here.
Good morning love bugs! Omg, today I am so excited to share another “pinch me” moment for RoselynWeaver.com. A few months ago I received an email that literally made me scream at my desk. After the initial almost fell out of my chair reaction, I thought to my self “holy cow, I hope they sent this email to the right person?”. I decided to jump on the requested call immediately before they changed their mind, lol.
The call was with Gibson, a clothing brand I have followed and love, and the email/call was asking me to partner up with them to design a piece of clothing to be launched on International Women’s Day exclusively at Nordstrom. What???!!! I was shook. I still have goosebumps writing this!
They wanted to partner up on designing an item that represented my style and that would be sold at Nordstrom, Nordstrom.com and would be named Roselyn. Again, WHAT?! Okay at this point I realized they did, in fact, email the right person, lol. Clearly I said YES!!!
Why International Women’s Day?
The importance around this day has gained so much traction and for good reason! Gibson and Nordstrom are showing how much they stand behind this celebration by partnering up with 9 influencers who, in their words, “bring the International Women’s Day theme to life, #balanceforbetter”. We were chosen because of the businesses we have built as driven women, the (much needed) diversity we bring to the industry and for the fact that we are using our platforms not just to grow a business but to truly make an impact in people’s lives in so many different ways.
Who are the other influencers involved?
You are going to love each and every one of these women, I just know it! Linking everyone’s blog below so you can get to know them more!
Exactly one month from today! March 8th on International Women’s Day. We have all been working so hard behind the scenes for the past few months for this!
What does the “Roselyn” item look like?
Unfortunately I cannot share that yet but I can tell you that it’s so dang cute and it is something that I think you guys will love based on what you have been loving from the blog in the past! I think you guys will love the entire collection as each of the influencers involved are so stylish and each piece really represents each of their styles.
Giving Back
Another amazing thing about this collection is that Gibson/Nordstrom has allowed each of the influencers to choose an organization of their own that will receive a donation from the sales. I chose Arms Wide Adoption. As most of you know, this is the agency that we have been using through our adoption process. Baby Weaver has been the most precious gift ever given to us and the people at Arms Wide Adoption work hard every day to bring families happiness like they have brought to us. I will go into more detail about exactly where that money goes in another post but I did want you all to know that a % from each of your guys’ purchase from this collection will be given to a special, hand selected organization.
Ahhhh, I am still over the moon you guys! It has been so hard keeping this from you! I am excited I can finally share and I am really, really looking forward to sharing the whole collection with you.
March 8th friends!! I’ll keep you all posted with any sneak peeks we can share. Please let me know if you have any questions and be sure to check out the other women that are included in this launch. All of their links are above!
xo, Roselyn
