5 Must Haves For The Perfect Power Ranger Birthday Party
Landon had no idea what a Power Ranger was until we came across some Power Ranger reruns when we were at my parents in December. He has been obsessed every since LOL
In February he started counting down the weeks to his birthday and asked for a Power Ranger party. We knew we would celebrate big no matter what but he was even more excited when we decided to invite friends over for the celebration too!
Today I am sharing the 5 things that really made his Power Ranger birthday party extra special!
5 Must Haves For The Perfect Power Ranger Party
Special appearance from a Power Ranger – OMG, we literally could have done nothing else and his day would have been made! I am so excited we were able to find a Power Ranger character at the last minute. We booked through Kids Party Experts. We had a slight mishap at the beginning of the week where I did not think they were going to be able to make it but it ended up working out and I am so glad it did! We booked him for 45 minutes and he “trained” all of the kiddos with fun activities and stayed to take a few pics with Landon’s “team”. It was so cute!
Colorful Balloon Backdrop – Honestly, the best statement piece you can add to any party. I love that they can customize sizes and colors to your decor. Posh Pop Balloons is a woman-owned business in the Houston area and they both are so talented! I highly recommend for your next celebration! They also did the balloons for Brandon’s party too.
“Power Table” – I set up a table with foam swords, ninja stars, superhero sashes, power ranger masks and bracelets so that the kids could “choose their training gear!”. It was a big hit with the kids!
Power Ranger Bounce House– We always use Sky High Rentals when needing to rent bounce houses. We have used them for all of his birthdays now and even a few other times for “Sunday Funday”. They truly have the best selection for kids birthday parties! I was so excited to see they had this Power Ranger one.
Dessert & Treat Table – Every year we do a little treat table for the kids to fill their bags with sweets and goodies as a take home gift. I try to make the candy match whatever theme we are doing that year. You can see our Candy Shop party here and our Carnival Party here. This year I did the Power Ranger colors but made sure they were individually wrapped candies.
As I mentioned, we always use Sky High Rentals for Landon’s parties. We rent bounce houses, tables, and chairs and we even rented a bunch of carnival-like games for Landon’s 2nd birthday which was carnival themed. You can check out that post here. Posh Pop Balloons brought the balloon magic with this colorful balloon banner! It was the perfect backdrop for the cake and treat table!
I am so happy with how his ombre cake turned out! I asked Erica for a black, gray, and white ombre cake with the Power Ranger helmets and she nailed it! I wanted to keep the top tier simple since we found this cool cake topper!
Also, how cute is the Power Ranger birthday banner?! Live Laugh Scrap can customize these banners for you! She also did Landon’s superhero name decor for his room.
I ended up putting the edible toppers on the macaroons myself. It wasn’t hard at all but patience is definitely needed LOL.
You can’t turn your back on these girls for too long! Look at them already sneaking into the treats LOL. Here is the little treat table for the kids to fill their bags with sweets and goodies as a take-home gift.
I printed little signs to display at the eating area, treat table, and power table. A fun and easy thing to do for any party!
Here’s the little “power table” set up with Power Ranger masks, swords, ninja stars, tattoos, and bracelets. The kids LOVED it!
The kiddie tables and chairs are also from Sky High Rentals. I ordered the Power Ranger yard signs from Oriental Trading.
We were so happy to be able to celebrate our little man turning 4 with friends this year! The icing on top of the cake (pun intended) was seeing Landon’s face light up when the red Power Ranger walked into the house!

Good Curve Straight Leg Denim
I decided to dress this jean up with a heel and gingham blazer. I love the wash of this denim. I feel like it’s a true denim blue and really great for Spring. I am wearing my true size 4. Keep in mind though, these have very little stretch. Like 1%. They fit amazing and I have worn them a few times and they have not stretched out at all which is great! But I know there are some of ya’ll that like more stretch in your denim so if that is you, the next denim style may be a better fit!

Good Straight Frayed Waist Denim
These jeans have been on repeat over here so I am sharing two easy and cute outfits I have been wearing lately! I am wearing my true size 4 in these as well. These have about 10% of stretch which I think is perfect for still getting that amazing, perfect fit but not having to wash after each wear. You can still bend down and pick up your toddlers in these, no problem 🙂
This is a lighter blue wash with more distressing on the hem and around the waistband so I feel like it’s the more casual style of the two pairs. Also, I love that Good American has this line of “Responsible Denim” which is a collection made from recycled materials and eco-kind washes that help reduce energy footprint, uses significantly less water usage and solar powered factories.
The olive shoulder pad tee is really soft and from Good American’s apparel line as well. Also comes in white and black. Wearing a small.

Spring has sprung and a new season always has me feeling like re-organzing my life LOL! I loved knocking out our January to do lists together earlier this year so I figured we could do some of our Spring cleaning together as well!

This tan romper is so comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down. I styled them with my fav white Nike Court Vision shoes. I am wearing a size medium and love the fit of it. The romper also comes in black!

In LOVE with this button down and shorts set so much! I am not surprised it sold out so quickly but bummed it did just days after I received it. 2 Ways To Style YouR KoolaBurra Sandals For Summer
Recently I ordered the Koolaburra Carenza sandals and once I received the yellow pair and realized how comfortable they were I ordered the tan ones because I knew I would be wearing them a ton in the summer! What I really love about these (aside from them being super comfortable) is that they have a platform so they give my short self a little height. It also makes them look a little more like a dressed up sandal but not a full on wedge.

Sweater vests in the Spring? Clearly I am here for it. That’s the beautiful thing about fashion. You can choose to wear whatever you like and whatever makes you feel good! No one is going to tell me how to part my hair or that I can’t wear white after Labor Day or what kind of jeans not to wear! I feel like I look best with a middle part but will switch to the side part when my dry shampoo game is getting cray LOL. Also, I don’t think you can ever get me out of my skinny jeans! So, I say do what you want girl! #yolo 🙂 Do people even say that anymore?
Happy Friyay! I hope you guys had an awesome week! I wanted to share these new items from WAYF like ASAP because I think they are gonna sell out quickly! So, ya’ll know WAYF from Nordstrom, Shopbop, etc. and some of my favorite blogger friends have co-designed lines with them so you probably have seen me share that too! BUT today I am super excited for these items because they are pieces they exclusively launched at Nordstrom Rack. What does that mean you ask Well, the deals are HOT HOT HOT! Ya’ll I am in LOVE with this pleated pant and top. I mean could it be more perfect?! I think not. I am wearing a medium in both pieces.
This lace top comes in other colors as well. I love the lace detail and tie front. Could be so cute dressed up but I styled it casually with black denim and sneakers.

Coordinating with my little cuties is definitely at the top of my list of favorite things to do! I cannot wait until and I can start sharing her beautiful face! Lately, every time you tell her to say “cheese” for the camera she sticks out her tongue so 90% of these photos are her sticking her tongue out LOL!

Can you blame me?! 🙂 I am so in love with it and wearing it every chance I get!
