Hi friends! It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a beauty empties post! I have 4 skincare products to share today.
Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm
What is it? : A vitamin E-infused cleansing balm.
What is it supposed to do?: Melt away makeup and impurities without stripping moisture from your skin.
How To Use: Massage a small amount into dry skin, wet fingertips and continue to massage, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use on the entire face (it’s eye-safe) in the PM and/or AM.
Would I Buy It Again?: One of the things I really like about this cleansing balm is the price point and while it definitely easily removes makeup without leaving your skin feeling dry, they state it has a eucalyptus, spa like scent and honestly it reminded me of Vick’s vapor rub lol. I don’t hate that smell so it didn’t bother me much but I just wanted to give you a heads up. This Cleansing Balm is very hydrating but I felt like it was very pore clogging too. Because of the price point, it’s worth a try if you haven’t tried it yet. Everyone’s skin is so difference. I might purchase it again in the future but still my favorite cleansing balm is still this one.
Clarins Double Serum Light Texture Firming & Smoothing Anti-Aging Concentrate
What is it?: A lightweight, two in one serum with 21 plant extracts.
What is it supposed to do?: Visibly reduce wrinkles, promote skin firmness, revives radiance, visibly tightens pores while hydrating and smoothing skin.
How To Use: Apply before your daily moisturizer. Turn the dial to customize dosage of your skin’s needs, and press the pump. Mix both phases in the palms of your hands. Apply morning and/or evening to clean face and neck.
Would I Buy It Again?: With this price point it better work, am I right?! Well it does! This is actually my 2nd or 3rd empty bottle because I am a Clarins Stan. I highly recommend trying to this if you haven’t already! All the claims about reviving skin radiance, firmness and reducing wrinkles is all true IMO!
L’oreal Midnight Cream
What is it?: A moisturizing cream to be used day and night.
What is it supposed to do?: Repair skin barrier up to 1.5x faster. Patented Antioxidant and Vitamin E, repairs the skin barrier at night, when skin is most receptive to recovery – Smooth wrinkles, firm and improve radiance.
How To Use: Smooth over face and neck every morning and night after serum or treatment.
Would I Buy It Again?: I am a L’oreal makeup girl through and through okay. I once bought like 10of the same lipstick because I was afraid they were about to discontinue by favorite shade! With that being said, I was not a fan of this L’oreal skincare product. It is a very thick cream so it is hydrating but it felt too thick for me to wear during the day. The light scent was nice but overall I felt like it did not make a different in my skin or wrinkles. I would not purchase this again.
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream
What is it?: A moisturizer for day and night.
What is it supposed to do?: This cream with 30% Hyaluronic Acid Complex helps plump the look of skin with moisture. The look of fine lines and wrinkles is said to be visibly reduced, leaving a silky, hydrated and more youthful-looking complexion
How To Use: Apply cream twice daily to face and neck with continued use.
Would I Buy It Again?: I am so happy I brought this travel sized moisturizer with us to Europe because it literally saved my skin! We were in the sun so much and I definitely was not drinking my usual amounts of water so my skin was thirsty and struggling LOL. This moisturizer definitely helped. I was also very surprised of how lightweight it is while super hydrating! It didn’t feel heavy for wearing during the daytime. I would definitely repurchase!
