Little Black Scalloped Dress

Happy Tuesday!

My Monday blog post is a little late as you can see 🙂 but we were spending our last day in Vegas yesterday and I did not open my computer one time this weekend and it was quite glorious! I got to see the majority of my family at my cousin’s wedding and per usual cried on the plane ride back, lol.

I am so close to my family and even though we text, call, email, basically like everyday, it’s still super hard getting on a plane back to Houston. Now that we have baby Weaver, I just want us to spend even more time with them. Thankfully, Brandon totally gets it and we talked about me flying home to California more often this year.

Anywho, today I am sharing this little black dress from Tobi and I think it is such a pretty option for a wedding guest outfit.

Outfit Details: Dress: Tobi | Heels: Steve Madden | Clutch: Louise & Eleanor | Lippie: Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Magentle Formula

How cute are the scalloped details?! Such a fun spin on the little black dress. The length is perfect and the deep v makes it a little sexy! If you don’t want to show too much, you could always wear this black lace bralette underneath.

So if you read my post Friday,  I talked about how I was running around like a crazy person last week looking for a bridesmaid dress. Well, after I wrote that post telling you that I finally found one at David’s Bridal and paid extra to have it altered in the same day this Asos dress arrived before our flight Friday and I ended up wearing that one instead LOL. My life in a nutshell, haha.

This Asos dress was so cute though and I didn’t even have to have it hemmed! So win, win. I ended up getting a size 6. The wedding was so beautiful and held at Green Valley Ranch Resort and Casino. Elvis married them, the food was delicious and the DJ was on point. We danced all night long. Baby Weaver got to meet more of the family and needless to say our hearts are so full. Family is the most important thing in life and I know you know that but sometimes the craziness of life doesn’t allow us to stop and remember that every day. I already can’t wait to our next visit home!
