You may have caught a glimpse via Instagram or Snapchat but I’ve been using a littleĀ coffee grounds and aloe vera mix to cure my under eye bag situation. You should know me well enough by now to know I don’t get a lot of sleep. I don’t feel tired, I’m not stressed, I really just think it’s genetic because my Mom and Dad could totally go off of 4 hours of sleep too!

Anywho, I have also shared some eye patches in the pastĀ that I absolutely LOVE! My favorites are Patchology and Skyn. I actually still work these into my routine because I love them so much. But like I said, I don’t get much sleepĀ so having to use something every morningĀ starts to getĀ a little pricey.Ā  So I did what any normal girl would do, I turned to Pinterest šŸ™‚ I found so many articles talking about using coffee grounds and aloe vera to help with my issues. Really you could use this all over your face to reduce puffiness after a sleepless night.

I keep my aloe vera in the fridge so it’s really cold. Each morning while I wait for my coffee to brew I mix the aloe vera and coffee grounds in the palm of my hand and dab it under the eye area. I leave it on for about 15 minutes while I drink my coffee and well, if you read my 4am diaries you’ll know I’m probably watching infomercials. šŸ™‚ Caffeine can tighten skin, smooth puffiness, fight free radicals and reduce dark under eye circles while aloe veraĀ cools the area and obviously helps the coffee grounds stick to your face.

I have been doing it for about 3 weeks off and on and I totally see a difference! I’d love to hear what you use!
