It hasn’t even been a full 48 hours since we checked out of our beautiful Hotel Sorella suite but I’m already wanting to book our next visit!
If you are looking to spend a luxurious weekend at a Houston hotel where you can stay and play, Hotel Sorella is the one!
The suite we stayed in had floor to ceiling windows, a full kitchen and a separate living room. Oh and it also had a full size washer and dryer that of course Brandon had to use because he didn’t want to go home with dirty gym clothes 🙂 Our room was amazing! Because Hotel Sorella is literally located inside of the Houston City Centre, we were walking distance from restaurants, entertainment and shopping. You can view the full list of places to shop, sip and see here.
Hotel Sorella has 266 rooms which include 30 suites, 1 presidential suite and 21 penthouse suites. They also have a fitness center on the 3rd floor but the hotel staff was kind enough to give us VIP passes to Lifetime Fitness located right next door. Brandon and I can’t thank the Valencia Group enough for letting us live our best life for three days in one of their penthouse suites. The room was gorgeous and chic but the attention to detail when it came to décor did not end there. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was in awe of the chandeliers and chic aesthetics. I was so impressed with the interior decor. Whoever was responsible for choosing furniture for the hotel is a master mind. It’s very instagrammable to say the least. 🙂
This was actually my 3rd visit to Hotel Sorella and my 2nd stay. My first stay was for a company event where they hosted us in their conference rooms downstairs. So I can attest to this location being the perfect pick for work and play.
Dress is from Shein and only $15!
Brandon and I loved being able to wake up (even though we didn’t want to leave that comfy bed) and head downstairs for a full breakfast menu. You also have the option of room service but let’s be honest, if we had the food delivered we would have probably never left the room! We ate at Ruggles Green, Yard House, Grimaldi’s and the new General Public. Our best friends came and joined us for some fun at Bowl & Barrel Saturday night and then we had a few cocktails at Strait. All of these places are within a short walking distance of Hotel Sorella. I’ll also be doing a separate review of some of our favorite eatery places in City Centre. It may or may not include a run in with JJ Watt. 🙂
We spent our last morning enjoying that comfy bed and then headed to enjoy some pool time in the afternoon. #cabanagoals
