Red Dress + Red Lips

Yeah, yeah I’m still crying though LOL.

Happy Friday friends! So sad we had to leave Paris, but hey at least it’s Friday right and we returned to somewhat cooler temps in Houston!!

This pleated swing dress was so perfect for day 16 of vacation because after that many days of my “vacation calories don’t count” mentality, pants were no longer my friend LOL. I love how the pleated details and sleeves add so much prettiness to an otherwise basic dress. And can we talk about these boots?! They are so comfortable. I wore them for an all day event of sight seeing so you know they are good! It’s typically really hard for me to find OTK boots because of my short legs so once I found these Steve Madden babies I had to buy them immediately! So for all of my fellow short girls, YOU NEED THESE!

Also, if you saw my short video on Instagram you can understand my new love for LipSense is so real! Maybe you guys can share some knowledge with me on another lip product that seriously stays on all day, but this one is honestly the first one that has worked for me. You can see in my video that literally seconds after I applied it I took a sip of my coffee and NO residue was left on the mug. Amazing!! And just a side note- I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the way I applied the gloss. Typically they tell you to apply the color first and the gloss as a top coat, however, that did not work for me. The color does stay either way, but because my lips get so extremely dry I have to use the gloss first. So you can try it either way and see what works for you. I think you are going to love it! Okay, so even though I am crying on the inside because vacation is officially over, we are so happy to be back with our fur babies and it’s my birthday weekend!

Also, something very exciting is happening this weekend!! Well, I’m pretty excited about it however the hubby is not! So stay tuned for Monday’s post!
