Yes it’s Monday and yes I’m already talking about the coming weekend ๐
I am all about getting festive for every National holiday, but going out and buying something new for every holiday can get costly so today I am sharing 2 Memorial Day inspired outfits that I pulled out of my closet and instantly made holiday appropriate with 1 simple accessory, a bandana!
Accessorizing with bandanas are all the rage right now so if you have been wanting to try the trend now is the time!
LOOK 1:
Romper (similar here and here) | Bandana | Shoes | Sunnies (similar)
LOOK 2:
Tank | Denim | Bandana (mine is somewhere between this color and this color) | Heels | Sunnies (similar) | Bracelets
So I have 2 confessions. First one is that I purchased both of these bandanas at the Dollar Tree last year! They were actually part of my table dรฉcor for the 4th of July but this year they will be part of my ensemble. Second confession is that both pairs of sunglasses shown above were purchased at souvenir shops LOL. The American flag ones were from our DC trip in February. I was itching to wear them again!
So throw on your favorite white tee and jeans or your favorite romper, accessorize with a bandana and you will be on trend ready to celebrate a much needed 3 day weekend!
But let’s not forget the real reason of the Memorial Day celebration. We must pay our respects to those who have died for our freedom and let’s also be sure to thank those for their service any chance we get! ๐ ๐ ๐
I can’t wait to see your upcoming bandana accessorizing!
As always, thank you so much for reading!
xo, Roselyn
I adore both looks! Fabulous as always. Kisses
I love both of these looks but I’m really swooning over the first outfit with the red bandana. Of course I am obsessed with the romper as well. I love this blog post, so creative and unique.

You look great in the bandanas, and love them styled as a neck scarf! I’m not sure I am brave enough to try that trend- but you have inspired me to give it a whirl ๐
