Just because you work most of your days in an office doesn’t mean you can’t still bring it with the seasons must have trends!

I was on a conference call not too long ago. I had conferenced in from home and there was a new employee on the conference call that I hadn’t met yet, the individual that introduced me via phone said “you may have seen her around the office, she looks like she just stepped out of a magazine”. That was the sweetest compliment ever! I mean, let’s be honest when we get dressed up it’s so that we feel better about ourselves and personally it helps me mentally prepare to conquer the day, but it is always nice to hear that people actually take notice to that time you put into getting ready! Am I right?!

Maybe you don’t feel comfortable wearing your full, all over floral print skirt to the workplace but you can still bring the bright pantones and latest spring trends to your 8-5. I love the Express Editor and Columnist pants for work because they always come in fun colors and prints making it easy to update my office wardrobe. One may look at this honey gold color and think they can’t be worn often, but that is so wrong. This color can be worn so many different ways and paired with so many colors. I love how it looks with cobalt blue so I decided to accessorize the look with cobalt heels and earrings. I think my next move will be pairing it with a red top and heels! And how cute are the bell sleeves on this Fashion Union top?! When I saw it in Target I could not pass it up! Are you guys loving the bell sleeve trend as much as I am?! It is too cute!

How was everyone’s weekend?! We planned ours to be a low key one as we have been traveling the past few weekends and totally needed to get our house, laundry and life in order because the rest of May is scheduled to be cray cray! I finally got some girl time with one my besties Saturday after church and Sunday Brandon and I got all of our errands and cooking for the week done so early I had this bright idea that I would start to remodel/paint the guest bedroom. Great idea right?! Not really…it always sounds like a great idea when I’m browsing pinterest and then when Brandon came home with the sander for me to start on the crown molding, I thought “I’m tired” LOL. Well, needless to say I had to start sanding because I made him go get all the stuff from Home Depot. Stayed tuned for that update. So much for my relaxing weekend! 🙂

  1. I love this look, you always look fabulous! Pinterest always inspires me too but then when it comes down to it I’m not up for the reality of it all when it comes to new projects! You will love it once it’s complete though. I can’t wait to see pictures!

  12. I love this pairing on you!!! I’ve had my eye on those gold pants and you may have just talked me into it! I have the same ones in cobalt & red and shocked how much use I get out of them. Love how you added this striped top!!! So so cute.
