These floral pants are so fun they immediately caught my eye when shopping at Zara a few weeks ago! In today’s post I am dressing them up but this week I will share different ways to wear them more casually so stay tuned on Instagram stories!
I recently visited my local Zara and oh man did I do some damage! Basically the whole store was on sale and still is! I found so many cute items! These floral pants being one of them. I love the high waist fit and bright print. I am wearing the medium. They also come in other colors. The bright blue bodysuit immediately caught my eye when I was shopping at Zara. I picked it up originally planning to wear with jeans but when I saw the floral pants I knew they were a perfect match ๐
The bodysuit is really flattering and full coverage but if you work in a very conservative office you can wear a blazer or button up over it. Wearing a medium in the bodysuit.
From the outside looking in, it may look like I am the bougiest member of the Weaver family but for those who know us on a deeper level know that Brandon is the hotel snob of the family. I’m just being honest ๐ He has become a very loyal Marriott Rewards member over the years and is proudly now a Marriott Elite Platinum Ambassador. So needless to say, his hotel stay standards are very high.
Our recent visit to the JW Marriott San Antonio over Father’s Day weekend was our 3rd stay at the resort so that should tell you something! We clearly love it! The property itself is so beautiful! From the lobby, to the rooms to the outdoor landscaping, they did not miss a detail! They have 6 amazing restaurants on-site plus a Starbucks (very important to note), two 18-hole championship courses designed by golf’s most innovative architects, and NINE acres of water park!
There is so much to do at the resort but today I want to chat more about why we loved it for a family trip and why I think you and your kids would love it there too!
4 Reasons To Stay At The JW Marriott With Kids
Endless Water Fun – The 9 acres of water park oasis includes tubes slides and body slides for the thrill seekers! They have a 1,100 foot lazy river to float, a sand beach pool to build sand castles and a kid’s pool area with kiddie slides. We enjoyed all of the water areas but spent most of our time at the sand beach!
Beautiful Green Space– If your kids have endless energy like mine, you’ll appreciate all of the green space too! Each day after dinner we would play freeze tag, hide and seek and throw the kids football around. A nice way to let the kids burn off more energy and a great way too really in the beautiful scenery of the property.
Arcade Games + More– I told ya’ll, the JW Marriott San Antonio did not skip any details! In addition to the pool tables, shuffle board, chest and checker tables on the first floor of the resort, they also have an on-site arcade! So if your kids want to take a little break from fun in the sun, just head to the arcade or to the pool tables!
Kid Dedicated Activities– Throughout the year, the JW Marriott San Antonio puts together different activities for families to enjoy! The day we arrived, they had a build a bear station on site! I mean how fun, right?! Before dinner one night we headed to family friendly Bingo game which was a blast and every night after dinner and running around the green space, we ended the perfect day with Smore’s by a campfire.
Reminiscing on this stay makes me want to book a trip asap! We seriously had such a fun time and the smiles on my babies faces make my mama heart want to relive these moments all over again! We will be back soon San Antonio! If you are looking for an elevated resort stay that is family friendly, I would highly recommend JW Marriott San Antonio!
We love spending time outside! I know we have very hot days in Houston during the summer but that does not stop us from spending as much time as possible outside. Plus it really helps me tire the kids out, haha!
I enjoy finding local activities for the things to do in the city but it’s so nice to be able to wake up, not even get dressed and immediately create fun summer memories in our own backyard! This summer I turned to Walmart for some new backyard toys to add to the fun! With so many rollback prices I picked up quite a few new toys!

If you are trying to tire out your kids like I am but having fun while you are at it, I can’t recommend this bounce house from Walmart enough! This one also has a little basketball hoop!

I really love all of the neon colors they incorporated and the fact that many of the pieces can be mixed and matched with each other.
I also purchased this terry cloth romper which also comes in other colors. It’s really great for everyday running errands and would also would be great as a swimsuit coverup! I bought my items in a size medium for reference. They fit perfectly.

I always order the curve love cut from Abercrombie because I like the fit on me better. I am wearing the size 28. This white bodysuit is now the 4th one I own from them. The seamless fabric is so comfortable and breathable for summer!
Happy Friday eve! I’m super excited about this weekend because we are heading out to San Antonio to celebrate Father’s Day weekend! We are staying at 2 of our favorite San Antonio hotels, The St. Anthony and the JW Marriott. The last time were at the JW Marriott was during the Texas snow storm so we are excited to be able to take advantage of the amazing pool area and water slides this time! It will be cool to show the kids where we were playing in the snow a few years ago vs us running through the grass this year!
Anyway, today I am sharing my go to casual outfit! And these sneakers I am asked about the most.

When I ordered them in December last year I was able to order them from their online store but now that their work is becoming more in demand it looks like they are announcing each “drop” on their Instagram page. Surprisingly Brandon has worn his more than I have worn mine! Ya’ll know he’s typically an Adidas man so that says a lot!

Men are the hardest to shop for! It makes it a little easier when the guy in your life has a hobby like golf or fishing but also still hard because when they have a hobby like that they are usually pretty particular about the brand of golf balls or fishing lures they like! It’s always a good idea to take a peek into the assortment they already have to give you a better look at specific brands they may like.
