Kendra Scott + Spaulding for Children Event Recap

As you know, a few weeks ago I hosted a Kendra Scott event at Baybrook Mall with 5 of my favorite Houston bloggers! Today, I wanted to share a little recap of the event! Not only did I want to show you the prettiest pictures from Hey Pretty Baby Photography but I wanted to thank everyone again who came out!

As you may already know, Kendra Scott is big into philanthropy. I admire how many charities I have seen them partner up with over the years! One of the many reasons I love KS!

Although, KS stores choose organizations to partner with often, I was extremely excited to find out our event would be the first time that Kendra Scott Baybrook did a private charity shopping event. I was excited because this would mean all of our gal pals would get one on one time with the stylists and also get to mingle with some of their favorite local bloggers.

However, even though I was extremely excited about the private event I was equally as nervous for that same reason. Being a private event, that meant all the sales generated would depend on our advertising and word of mouth. Typically, the charity events are held during store hours so even though the customers aren’t exactly coming in for the specific charity event their purchases would still apply to the total donation amount.

That wasn’t our case. I was praying that more than the 6 of us hosts and Kendra Scott staff would show up that Super Bowl Sunday morning! LOL

And man…did you guys show up!!! Not only did we have a crowd looking as pretty as ever but you all shopped your hearts out giving us $673 to donate to Spaulding for Children. $673 may not seem like much to some but if you break it down that means you all helped us raise almost $3,400 dollars in just 2 HOURS!!! Your $673 is going to help Spaulding for Children find permanent, loving adoptive families for children who were removed from their birth homes due to abuse or neglect. That’s a BIG deal!

You can imagine that I am still over the moon about this event and the generosity of each and every one of you.

YOU guys rock! But I already knew that! 🙂
