Styling Your Summer Dresses Into Fall

TGIF!

Wow, it has been the most busy, most interesting week! But it was also filled with so much love celebrating the hubby’s birthday! I hope you all had a great one!

Who else is looking in their closet today like, “I really want to wear that new maroon leather jacket I bought because it’s supposed to be Fall, but it’s still a 150 degrees outside”? Seriously Houston is nowhere near cooler temps right now.

So today I am sharing some budget friendly ways to “Fall up” your favorite embroidered dresses that you were sporting for summer!

1.Throw on a denim jacket- if you are lucky enough to have a little bit of the cooler weather, this is a perfect way to style a embroidered dress for the transitional time of year.

2.Accessorize with suede-suede is always a good idea for Fall and it transitions your dresses into the season perfectly.

3. Hats- Trade in your favorite straw hat for a felt fedora or floppy hat like the one I have shown above.

  1. Great tips, girl! I’m with you…I want to wear a pair of boots I bought but would look ridiculous when it’s supposed to be in the 90s all next week. The struggle is real! I’m with you that pairing suede heels or a floppy hat is the perfect way to get our Fall fix even though Mother Nature isn’t cooperating! 🙂
