Sequins I Am Loving

So I walked into JCPenney to grab one thing for someone else and I walked out with the whole Tracee Ellis Ross line.

If you are a new reader around here I’ll just tell you right now that this happens often. Walk into a store for one thing, come out with millions. 🙂

I am obsessed with how these gold heels look almost identical to the Gucci Marmont pumps. Minus the Gucci logo of course. If the loafer style isn’t your thing here is a really cute gold heel option.

I love all things sparkly so naturally I am going to find a way to wear sequins to the office this time of year! Some people think sequins are just party wear but pair it with the right pieces, you can totally rock it in the light of day! I am wearing this stripe sequin top over a white button up blouse to make it office appropriate. You could also pair it with some nude pumps or flats to tone down the look even more but I’m like “nah, go big”. 🙂

I am also shopping for a few other sequin items for upcoming events so I thought I would share some of my favorite finds with you.

Also, sequins always make me think of New Year’s Eve. What are your guys’ plans this year? I am sooooooooo, like sooooooooooooooooooo excited because my family will be here for NYE this year!! We typically go to California at the end of the year but we couldn’t travel with baby Weaver this year so the family is coming to us! Eek, I cannot even contain my excitement. I can’t wait for them to meet their grandson/nephew/cousin for the first time and for his first new year’s too! Now I have to start pinning “New Years House Party Ideas” lol. BRB.
