New York Fashion Week- Day 3 Recap

Day 3. Alarm went off at 6am again and I remember thinking to myself “why did I think early morning photoshoots after late nights were a good idea?!

But let’s be honest Banavenue can even make a girl going on 4 hours of sleep look like magic!

A mermaid. A queen. The boss of all NYC streets. That’s what comes to mind when I think about how this Chloe Dao top will make you feel! You can get this beauty for yourself here. I will link everything else below.

Even though Banavenue totally makes me look like I have it together in these photos I didn’t even have my coffee yet so as soon as we were done with the shoot I met up with my boss babe friend Annie, founder of Style Collective. I haven’t seen her in almost 2 years and we didn’t have time to chat at the Style Collective party the night before so I am so glad we got to meet for coffee and catch up! Can’t wait to see her again in April!

After our coffee date I ran into Sarah and Tiff on their way to brunch so I tagged along with them and we ended up at The Smith. It was our first time there and it was oh so cute! So instagrammable and the food was good too 🙂

After brunch Tiff and I headed to the Banana Republic presentation which was a really cool concept as they had a stage set up outside so that the public could see before they went inside for the exclusive presentation. To make a long story short we were walking up and as I was ohhhing and ahhhhing over Olivia Palermo standing in front of the stage an animal rights grouped swarmed the crowd and the stage. They were literally yelling in people’s faces and pushing the models on stage. It totally freaked us out because it caught us off guard! We made an executive decision and left to do some shopping, haha!

After a little shopping with Tiff I headed to a meeting in Soho. Unfortunately Fortunately, I  ran into some cute shops on the way out and did some more damage. Thinking to myself “how am I going to fit all this stuff in my already packed suitcase?!” But did that stop me? No. I totally lost track of time and rushed back to the hotel. The Lulu’s party had started at 6 and I didn’t end up getting back until 8 so I decided to just get ready for the 10pm Philipp Plein show.

Okay so let’s get to the good stuff. Hands down the coolest, overall show that I attended during NYFW! Dita Von Teese opened the show with her signature performance, Future performed as the music for the entire show! Nikki Minaj was front row, Teyana Taylor “modeled” lingerie but when I say model I mean doing her thing dancing (on all fours) down the runway and oh EJ from Rich Kids of Beverly Hills was in our row, haha. So random! Below are some pictures so you can see Philipp’s cool designs and stage set up!
