I am obviously obsessed with this purse and these shoes because they were on major repeat at NYFW. I got these darling pleated silver pants from Forever 21 but I’m so bummed they aren’t online! I linked some similar options for you though. Also, Skies Are Blue sent me the cutest items just in time for fashion week including this white top. I loved it so much that I am styling it two ways on the blog today!

So our 2nd day at fashion week was cray! We left our hotel around 7am to shoot with Yash at the Brooklyn Bridge. The outfit and shoot I shared in yesterday’s post here. The weather was AH-mazing and I loved that we were able to get some shots with some of the other bloggers.

Right after the shoot Dawn, Dede and I met up with our favorite PR gal for coffee at Blank State. This spot is so cute!

After that I met up with Steph for the Galtiscopio show. Designs founded in Paris known for their women’s clothing and accessories. I also found out that Galtiscopio is well known throughout the music industry for her jewel encrusted accessories. Which totally makes since now that we were surprised by Ray J who opened the show perfoming one of his new songs dedicated to me his wife who sitting in the front row. 🙂

After Galtiscopio we rushed, like practically ran, over to a Nolcha show featuring All Comes From Nothing. This line was inspired by the Chinese Philosophy of simplicity and minimalism.

After the All Comes From Nothing show I was able to jet back to the hotel for a quick outfit change and then we headed to the Katie Gallagher presentation. A presentation is a little different than a runway show. Instead of the models showcasing the clothes on a runway, the designer “presents” the clothing in a different type of setting. It could be models walking around the room very casually or standing on a stage. I really enjoy presentations because it allows the creative director to incorporate the overall theme into the space.

Katie Gallagher’s collection was called rain so I thought it was very creative that they had the models on stage in a dark setting, thunder and rain effects throughout the speaker systems and it kind of looked like it was raining on stage. Pretty cool!

After the presentation we were able to hang out a bit and chat with some new girls we met and then headed to a Happy Hour event hosted by Dawn. I am sooooo SOOOoooo happy she hosted this event while we were in NY. It was nice to get together with all of the Texas girls and also great to finally meet new internet friends IRL!

I was schedule for another show at 6pm but the cocktails were flowing and too much fun was being had so I opted out of the last show of the day. It was hard to tear myself away from this fun happy hour(s) but I ended the night seeing all of my Style Collective babes at the SC party and it reminded me again why I love the blogging community so much! Style Collective is a platform to connect with other bloggers and female entrepreneurs. If you are a business woman and do not belong to a community like this yet, I highly suggest Style Collective!

Thanks for hanging in there and reading this super long post today guys, haha!

I hope you are enjoying the recaps and if I have left you with any questions just let me know and I will answer them!

xo, Roselyn
