It is a full work week over here but all I can think about is summer festivities and the fact that we have a short work week next week, haha! Today I am sharing the cutest outfit inspiration for your Independence Day festivities!

I wore this star print romper to a summer soiree last Wednesday. To celebrate the first day of summer, Target and Camille Styles hosted us for the cutest picnic inspired event where they showcased so many cute entertainment pieces and it totally made me want to start planning a picnic style get together. That’s probably why I’m so excited about summer festivities, haha! They had the most adorable Americana décor and serving essentials perfect for 4th of July gatherings!
This romper would be especially perfect for Independence coming up. The navy blue with white stars is so cute and you could totally accessorize it with a red bandana. I love it with the wedges but I actually wore it with cognac sandals to the Target event.
Truth time. I went to the event straight from work and I totally did not pack another outfit. Since I didn’t want to show up in my blazer and slacks to this picnic inspired event I ran into the new Francesca’s on West Gray to find something to wear. I found this romper and knew I needed it right away. The staff at West Gray was nice enough to steam it for me so I could wear it out! I thankfully at least had sandals in my car so I paired the romper with those and was on my merry way!
