Be You + Bulletproof Bloggers

So I went back and forth about even posting this, but the more I talk about it with my friends I am realizing how often internet bullying happens. Well, I’m not even sure if I would call it bullying, but whatever it is, it’s rude.

So a few weeks ago I started getting direct messages on my Instagram stories. Silly things about outfits and then one morning someone had something to say about me holding a coffee mug. My hand holding a coffee mug guys. Someone took the time to say something rude about my manicure. Trust me I’ve heard worse, but seriously I was like Um, that’s rude! I won’t go into any more detail about what some people say because it’s not worth the time, but that’s exactly it. Who in the world takes the time out of their day to write these not so nice things to other people they don’t even know??!!

I follow a lot of successful bloggers and I see people write rude comments on their photos all of the time. WHY?! I don’t understand this at all. Why do people use their energy for things like this? Why do you even follow someone that you only have bad things to say about? Why are you so hateful?

Unfortunately, I can’t answer those questions but I do have something that will make you laugh today. I was talking to my husband about this and he was like “haven’t you ever heard of internet trolls?” After explaining to me what that meant, he came up with the funniest idea.

A service called “Bulletproof Bloggers”. For $9.99 a month you can subscribe to Bulletproof Bloggers where they will “troll” everyone that “trolls” you.

Okay, laughing out loud right now because it is kind of genius. Of course we would never promote bullying at all, but it is a good idea in theory.

But in all seriousness, we cannot control the way people act and we shouldn’t change who we are or what we do because of people like this. You just have to continue to BE YOU.

Be you because that’s what makes you happy. Be you because you’re amazing. Be you because that’s what makes you, YOU. Be you because that’s who we love. Be you because no matter how awesome, kind hearted and beautiful you really are there will always be that one person that just has to be rude. We can’t do anything about that, but we can choose how we react (or don’t) to people like that.

Have an awesome day BEYOUtiful!!

  1. Yea it’s crazy how some people just comment hateful things on other peoples blogs etc for no reason. They obviously just have nothing better to do in their life and are miserable in their own life so they follow others just to insult them

    1. I agree and I just don’t understand it girl! And the sad thing is that this is so minimal and bullying happens to even children in real life and that just hurts my heart. People just need to stop and worry about more important things like themselves. Sending you so much love. I hope you have a great day!

  2. Your husband is so funny, “Bulletproof Bloggers”. Lol. No matter what… the amount of people that love you, your blog, and the beautiful pictures you take will ALWAYS outweigh those trolls/haters. Keep being great!!

  3. Thanks for the love on my IG photo! I love how you fight hate with love. That’s truly inspiring. It seems like the universe wanted us to cross paths today. I received a meaningless/questionable comment on one of my videos today, and started doubting myself. But I ignored the troll, and decided to stay on my path.

Please continue sharing your awesome-ness to the world!
