Casual Style In Paris

Hi there friends!

It looks like I am on a roll with my one post a week over here! I promise to get back to my Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule soon. We are just soaking up every minute of this amazing trip and every time I think “okay I will write a post tonight” I put myself in dessert-coma and then I literally want to do nothing when we get back to our place LOL

I wanted to share something with you today. I have been getting questions about our travels here through Northern Europe and I wanted to let you know what started this whole journey.

These pictures were taken in Paris last Saturday. We have been to France before, but never to Paris and O.M.G guys it was spectacular! We had just flown in from Amsterdam that morning and literally dropped our bags at the hotel and started our day. This comfy and casual outfit was perfect for our flight and street chic enough to start our first day of walking 40,000 steps through the beautiful streets of Paris.

Today I wanted to share something a little more personal with you. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about our recent travels and I am super excited to share more about each city/country we have had a chance to visit this October, but more importantly I wanted to share with you why this trip even began.

Deuteronomy 16:15 “Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the LORD your God in the place which the LORD chooses, because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.”

Though Brandon and I have been enjoying our exciting journey through Northern Europe, we are currently in Jersey, British Isles, celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles, also known as the Feast of Booths. I won’t go into detail too much here because I am not here to preach to you, but I have been getting a lot of questions of why/how we ended up in Jersey this trip.

P.S. it is NOT an easy trip to Jersey! They have limited ferries and flights to this island, but once you get here it is so beautiful and easy to get around so it’s definitely worth it!

Anyway, we are currently in Jersey for church. We are members of COGWA and observe all of the holy days. The Feast of Tabernacles lasts for 7 days and pictures the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth. This Feast is mentioned in scriptures; Leviticus 23:33-36, Revelation 20:4-6, Deuteronomy 16:15, to name a few.

Again, I’m not here to preach but if you haven’t noticed by now, I am quite the open book 🙂  so when I get questions I am more than willing to share!! For anyone that wants to read more about the Feast, click here for some great blog posts.

We’ll be ending this beautiful trip back in Paris so be sure to follow along on Snapchat friends!

As always, thanks so much for reading! I appreciate you all!

xo, Roselyn
