Shirtdress + 7 of my Favorite Shopping Spots in Houston

You made it to Friday, I made it to Friday (barely), we deserve to shop! 🙂

So you may be looking at this outfit thinking, “this isn’t a shirtdress”. Well, it kind of is because if you remember I posted about the dress here and though I loved the print so much I didn’t want to spend the money on buying the exact same print in a top so voila! a little tuck into my boyfriend jeans and we are on our way! 🙂

I’m not sure if you caught this guest post on Cheers, J last month so I am sharing some of my favorite Houston shops here today!

Planet Blue

Seriously, if you want to get to know my spirit animal, walk into this store! Planet Blue began its journey in Southern California and you can definitely feel that vibe when walking into each of their locations. Their aesthetic is everything I want to be. Maybe it’s just bred into us Californians, but I can’t get enough of that boho chic! You can imagine my excitement when I heard they were coming to Houston! Founded by owner and designer, Ling-Su Chinn, Planet Blue is filled with trending labels that will have anyone feeling like a beach goddess mermaid. Yes, that’s a thing. 🙂

Baanou

Planet Blue’s sexy next door neighbor also located in the River Oaks District. Not only will the collection of clothes and jewels have you swooning, but the décor will too! Sip champagne while you shop for feminine pieces from favorites like Keepsake the Label. If you can’t decide on what you want (because you may want it all!) the staff is so friendly and will have you feeling like a celeb with your own personal shopper.

Pomp & Circumstance

You can shop the P&C styles online, but be sure you visit their location on Rice Blvd because they inventory the cutest items that sell out so fast they don’t make it to the web. The styles are right on trend and so affordable. You can’t beat that!

Anjouil’s

Literally like 2.5 miles from my house which is both a good and bad thing, haha! The buyers have such a great eye for fashion that it makes it easy to make that OOTD choice! From casual wear to date night, I rarely have gone in there and walked out empty handed! My husband may wish they weren’t so close, but I kind of love it! And with their super affordable prices he can’t be mad that! 🙂

Adelaide’s

Unfortunately, you can’t shop this store online just yet, but I am giving you my word that this boutique is worth a trip out to the Clear Lake City area! They carry brands like Free People, Show Me Your Mumu and Dolce Vita. Plus, I don’t know if it is the Fashion Merchandiser in me, but I love the way that they have laid out their floor plan! It’s so welcoming and that shouldn’t surprise you as the boutiques are owned by 2 sister in laws! Also a plus is that we can have lunch when someone is FINALLY on my side of town! So come visit!

 Brooke Feather

Classic, chic, effortless and California girl are the first words that come to mind every time I walk into Brooke Feather. Like, if I could build my dream closet it would be this store. :)Here you can find timeless pieces, perfect denim, classic accessories and on trend must haves. Brooke Feather has got all the fashionistas covered!

Nordstrom

Okay, you know I wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight if I didn’t mention my all-time forever and ever favorite store! Nordstrom is my ultimate go to because DUH! It’s true that I try to avoid Galleria traffic, but at least I can always depend on finding what I need in Nordstrom! Always.

Yes, they have designer labels for when we all feel the need to splurge, but the Trend department is my favorite. This department is my favorite because it is filled with the latest and trending styles and is so affordable. I know you stylish babes are just like me as in I feel the need to buy something new for every event/birthday/dinner/big meeting LOL. Nordstrom definitely can provide you with new attire without breaking the bank!

Now, who’s ready to shop with me?! 🙂

Thanks for reading guys! Wishing you all a beautiful weekend!
