Verity’s motto is “fun and effortless fashion for every girl” and these beautiful dresses state just that! I love how pretty and feminine I felt in this effortlessly beautiful floral dress and I know Danielle would  say the same about the crochet dress. I mean really, you don’t even need shoes to make the outfit! The dress does all the styling for you! I just can’t get enough of this floral wrap dress as you can probably tell from my Instagram. 2 times in one week? That’s a winner in my book. More about our Belize trip coming soon, but today I wanted to share 10 fun things you’ll want to do with your besties this month! If you don’t have the time to jet set just yet,  below are some fun events you will want to check out if you are in Houston this month!

1-Houston Heights White Linen Nights-put on your favorite white outfit and grab your friends for some fun at the 10th annual White Linen Nights event on Saturday August 6th

2-Houston Restaurant Week-my favorite time of the year! Try out a new restaurant or celebrate one of your favorite eateries. Happening now through September 5th

3- See Wicked at the Hobby Center-you can probably easily talk your guy friends into the two events above, but this one may have to be a girls day out! Happening now through August 14th

4- Bands on the Sands in Galveston– If you haven’t done it yet this summer, enjoy some music and fireworks at Moody Gardens. Family friendly too! This weekend and next weekend are your last opportunities to check it out before the event ends!

5-Houston Food Tours-Do you know we have food tours weekly in Houston? Affordable too! If you are a lover of food like myself, I’ll see you there 🙂

6-East End Market Street-one of the many things I miss about LA is going to the Farmers Market for some yummy food and good times with friends! I will definitely be adding the East End Market street to my must do list

7-Yoga at Discovery Green-Pick a Saturday and grab some friends for yoga time on the green!

8-Pop Shop America– If you haven’t been to one yet, you have 3 chances this month to check out the Pop Up Mall Tour at Baybrook, Willowbrook and First Colony Mall

9-Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khlifa-mark those calendars for August 20th friends! Snoop Dogg is (going to be) in the house!

10-Flea by Night– Looking for some vintage items or a DIY project? Check out the Flea by Night event August 20th

  12. Keep posting Belize photos because I love living vicariously through them & you!!! Those dresses are super cute and those views are seriously insane. Love the Houston roundup–one of these next few visits to my parents’ in Dallas we need to turn into an overnight to visit Houston!
